Aerial shot taken on 15th April 2021 just before the drainage was backfilled.

The redevelopment of Cancleave is going very well and all as planned. A lot has happened since I last posted here.

All the internal walls have been skimmed and painted.

The floor tiles are finished throughout the kitchen/living/dining area and are being finished in the hallway as I type this.

The bathrooms are all tiled and are ready for the toilets & basins to be fitted.

The wood flooring for the bedrooms is being delivered today/tomorrow.

The woodburner was delivered yesterday and will be fitted next week.

Kitchen fitting underway – this was 2 days ago so it’s come on a bit since then.

The kitchen is being fitted this week and the worktops will be templated tomorrow and fitted next week.

External rendering is finished and we’re just waiting for the Siberian Larch cladding to arrive for the gables.

Outside rendering is complete and the cladding should be here tomorrow or early next week.

It’s all happening!

The only slight ‘fly-in-the -ointment’ is that the lack of rain combined with the cold temperatures is not conducive to germinating grass seed! Hopefully this will progress well over the next 6 weeks.
