Case Studies

 With the redevelopment of Cancleave we tried to utilise as many local products and services as possible. The demolition and build was carried out by Dunkin Construction and a film documenting the process, created by Apex Aerial Imaging, can be found here.

The construction method used for the ‘new’ Cancleave was ICF (insulated concrete formwork) and the system we used was from locally based R Wall. The result is a highly energy efficient, incredibly well insulated, contemporary build.

 The sofas we chose are from Alan Zoeftig at Zed & Co based in Crackington Haven. These were upholstered by Miller Upholstery of Bude using Yarwood Leather’s Mustang range. Yarwood leather wrote a little case study feature on Cancleave which appears on their website here.

 Yarwood leather also posted a feature on their website about using Mustang leather in hotel design. Although not strictly a hotel we were featured in this, sitting alongside Brasserie Blanc at The Marriot Hotel.

 The beautiful kitchen came from the Divine Kitchen Company in Camelford who recommended kitchen island bar stools manufactured by Cord Industries, based next door to them.

The bar stools were perfect for the setting and beautifully complimented the Mustang Pumpkin hide on the sofas. Like Yarwood Leather, Cord Industries also wrote a little case study and sent their photographer to get some shots of their stools at Cancleave.
